Electric Bike Reviews

  • Electric Bike - On paper, the 250-watt motor and 730-watt-hour battery may not seem as potent or long-lasting as you'd expect. However, Specialized's Mission Control app and 12-gear shifters allow for precise customization of your assistance level, factoring in variables like battery conservation and target heart rate. The display even indicates when the battery is optimized when you pedal at a fit cyclist's 80-100 revolutions per minute (rpm), rather than a recreational 60 rpm. Keep in mind that, at nearly 58 pounds, this bike isn't lightweight, and its $4,500 price tag is reflective of its capabilities.

Regarding the all-carbon-fiber electric bike series by Greg LeMond, I haven't conducted recent reviews on any comparable models. Nevertheless, the Prolog (rated 8/10 and recommended by WIRED) stands out due to its exceptionally lightweight frame, stylish matte finish, and premium components from well-known manufacturers. These include a one-button Mahle drive system, a Shimano gravel-specific gearing system, and Panaracer gravel tires, ensuring durability, versatility, and ease of maintenance.
